Duffy Theatre
Kia ora! Yesterday at school we had a nice surprise. Actors from the Duffy Theatre came to perform a show on lockdown. My favourite part was when they did karate and pretended they were hitting each other and plus they were very smart to use objects to make the sounds sound very real for us to hear. They used dolls to make it look like they were real characters. The story was very funny and sad because Duffy and his sister had to stay with their auntie at the farm because their parents were essential workers.
I also liked how they had little hangers to hang the objects they are using the cloths and other things. Also they had roles and they had to keep changing from one character to another and they had animals escaping from the cages and running around. They were so funny, these sheep were running around while Aunt, Duffy and Scruffy the two siblings were running around chasing the sheep.
I was similar to Duffy because he did not want to do any work during lock down. Duffy did like doing online work because it was boring doing online activities from home in stead of doing it in school.
Tena koutou tena koutou katoa.
Hi Sarah it's Shilo. I really like how you included some interesting things. It made me remember the first big laugh I made when they were doing the karate at the start. Next time you could put on a picture. Well I gess that is it, bye.
